You never see the wood for the trees

October 12, 2015 by Alienpoet in poetry art and tagged alienpoet, both sides, help, helping, insane, poem, poetry, rain, spoken word, story, wood | Leave a comment

You never see the wood for the trees
You never see the wound until it bleeds
You feel free until you see the chains
Lifes pains are driving you insane
You cannot help people until you know their pain
You cannot appreciate the sunshine until you’ve tasted the rain.
