I want to swipe left on this world

I want to Swipe left

On this world

no love finds me

no matter how I try

the right way to live is to cry

but at least I am here

I leave my mark

my divinity just a spark

I have written a thousand poems of longing

I have ached thousands days of love

and never been touched

I clutched at thousand straws

fought a thousand wars

in my head

if I could ever be respected

I’d choose love instead

as love is hope

and fear is respect

I answer in the tongue of the goddess

the only language I understand

in the chaos which haunts and daunts me.

If I were an alien

If I were an alien
I would not let on
that my planet was inhabited
it would be cloaked
and that is no joke
for human beings like playing war

If I were an alien
I’d have peace in my world
We wouldn’t be fighting over religion gender or sexuality
we’d have an utopian society.

If I were an alien
I’d simply just be
Seeking answers to this reality
I’d want to find a way to time travel
and unravel the universes mysteries
see what happened at the start and the end
and in between.

If I were an alien
I wouldn’t have pets I’d have friends
I’d nurture creatures to grow
I’d help them to develop
and envelope their hearts with love and creativity

If I were an alien
I’d live a great and long life
full of awesome experience and knowledge
I’d make sure my fellow alien’s also foraged
for knowledge, for learning is infectious
I’d not let anyone be directionless.

Alien words

I am a white Labrador
I don’t like other types
I bark and I bark and I bite
I am a white human
I don’t like people of other shades
I load my gun and sharpen my blades
I am a husky I like to play
I tussle I hustle and bustle with other dogs all day
I am a human being
I see that we are all different but the same
blaming other people is a playground game
I am an alien we been through all these struggles
On our planet we recognise that variation is fun and not trouble
and variation is also causes beauty in strange ways
we don’t come to fight we come to observe your planets creatures
But we are light years away but we’d like to teach you.E4CB811A-40B7-4C97-A811-AFAE717752F7

I am different

I am a fork in a world of soup
a scout without a troop
a landline phone in a world of mobiles
a voicemail speed dial
a punchline which is a slow poke
a old bloke surrounded by stylish gits.
Facebook without the pictures
selfies without the right angle,
a pen in a tangle
a stranger in a crowd
nuff said not loud.
A cuppa tea in world of coffee
a defenceless toffee
in a world of chocolate biscuits
dont risk it or me
cause i am too different.
A black sheep in a world of white
a short skirt in a world of jeans
a nightmare in a world of dreams.
You  may look
you may stare
but i am the unknown
you have to find me a home.
